Treatment
The clinical work at the Erica Foundation is
divided into three main sections
– An outpatient clinic for children
– An outpatient clinic for adolescents
and young adults
– A day treatment unit, Trasten, for children with pervasive
development disorders
The Erica foundation provides
psychodynamic psychotherapy to children, adolescents and young adults up to 24 years
of age. Priority is given to pre-school children and young people who
are 16-24 years old. Children might have different kind of problems such
as reactions to trauma, problems due to adoption/fostering, behavioural
problems etc. Adolescents might suffer from depression, anxiety, eating
disorders etc.
We also provide help for adults
in their role as parents.
The day treatment unit Trasten
offers help to children with pervasive development disorders. The
children have treatment in groups of four, they get also individual psychotherapy and their parents are offered
